Manchester Merriment
The town of Manchester was abuzz with six weeks of holiday charm to embrace the spirit of the season. The Community Tree Lighting in Adams Park on November 24 was filled with festive fun, including holiday tunes, an exciting visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, and of course, flipping the switch on the town tree with the help of children from the Equinox Lacrosse Association The annual Holiday Inn Tours captured the history of some of Southern Vermont’s most famous inns and included stops in the towns of Manchester, Dorset, Arlington, Sunderland, and Bennington on December 1 and 8. Manchester Merriment
The town of Manchester embraced the holidays once again this year with a series of Manchester Merriment events that helped inspire the spirit of the season. On November 25, residents and visitors alike gathered for the Community Tree Lighting on the Factory Point Town Green. The celebration included carols, visits with Santa, holiday treats, and, of course, hot cocoa. The festive fun continued on December 2 with the annual Lighted Tractor Parade where vintage and new tractors decked out in holiday finery and lights set off from MEMS spread holiday cheer around town. Other Manchester Merriment events took place through New Year’s Eve and included concerts from Taconic Music, Historic Holiday Inn Tours, the Manchester Lions Elf Express Train, and more, each contributing to the unique spirit that comes with the holiday season in Southern Vermont…

Manchester Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade 2016
On Saturday, December 3rd, residents and visitors lined Manchester’s Main Street for the annual Lighted Tractor Parade. With over 20 tractors from around the area participating, the Manchester Merriment event put us squarely in the holiday spirit.
